Galaxy Insurance Services Inc. A company that started in an office no larger that 500 square feet has gained a considerable number of clients over the past 14 years. Since then, Galaxy Insurance has relocated twice to fulfill the increased number of clients. Our growth has been due to our loyal customers, which is directly related to the quality of service provided at Galaxy Insurance. Not only has the number of clients increased, our product line has increased considerably also since its inception in 1997. We are currently directly represented with more than 20 companies along with numerous others are also recognized in our product line.
The company’s growth is also a reflection of the company’s President, Sidney Heng. A person of great character and integrity who left his native country of Cambodia in 1980 due to the mass genocide to seek a better opportunity in the United States, has successfully build a business within 15 years through his hard work and perseverance after starting with almost nothing. Within those 15 years he embarked on jobs that included hotel service and restaurant service. Through those experiences he understood the rewards of hard work and the tenacity it took to accomplish a business which led him to his first business. His first business endeavor was a small Sandwich Restaurant in Signal Hill in1996. One year later he left the sandwich business to pursue his initial dream of an intangible service, and ventured into the insurance business. From there on the business has blossomed into a company with great character after the hardships that endured in the first few years of operation.
